TEACHING ENGLISH WITH THE HELP OF DIGITAL TECHNOLOGY BY VARIOUS INTERACTIVE METHODS AND PSYCHOLOGICAL APPROACHES : METHODOLOGIES AND TEACHING APPROACHES

Learning to speak English is particularly challenging for learners who focus solely on skills. In my country, English proficiency and certification lead to better job prospects and increased university admission opportunities. Speaking and writing skills are often lower than reading and listening skills due to limited practice resources. While reading and listening materials are easily accessible, speaking practice requires time and a fluent partner. Teachers often focus more on listening and reading due to the availability of resources, rather than engaging in one-on-one speaking practice or reviewing every written assignment. Students need both mental and psychological preparation for speaking, not just in exams but also in conversations with foreigners. Initially, learners may feel nervous about making mistakes or lacking vocabulary. As a teacher addressing these challenges, I aim to implement methods and techniques that prepare students for all skills, particularly speaking, using digital technology. The technique involves assigning individual tasks without giving individual marks, which allows struggling students to focus on their progress and motivates them to improve. While grades can encourage high-performing students, they may discourage those with difficulties. Tasks will be assigned gradually, from elementary to intermediate levels, and students' progress will be monitored through ongoing assessment. Assessment targeting a group rather than individuals fosters the psychological growth of each learner by boosting self-confidence. This approach also supports students who may struggle in the classroom, while still allowing active students to acquire qualified knowledge, as the task is given is chosen is according to required degree of all
